ABCO ATTENDS ANNUAL SAFETY
CONFERENCE
ABCO Construction recently attended the annual AGC Safety
Conference at Thanksgiving Point. The focus of this
year's conference dealt with drugs and alcohol in the industry
and what an adverse affect it has on the work force.
ABCO Construction is adamant about keeping and maintaining a
drug-free work force. "Pre employment" drug screening
and periodic drug screening is standard
policy. |

ABCO NAMED "BUSINESS OF THE
MONTH"
ABCO Construction was recently named Business of the
Month by the Box Elder County Area Chamber of
Commerce. ABCO was nominated and selected by other local
companies in the Box Elder area. ABCO has been
supportive of the chamber for many years and has supported
local businesses as well as charitable organizations in the
community.

Attends Conference
ABCO Construction recently received some extensive training
on preparing and submitting Professional Proposals. The
training was attending in Houston, Texas and conducted and
taught by Dr. Dennis Schrag. Dr. Schrag has worked in
the industry for years and has extensive knowledge of proper
technique, etiquette and format for writing professional
proposals. |

Construction Thriving After 30 Years
The
Box Elder News Journal published an article
highlighting ABCO Construction's 30 years in business.
President and CEO, Marvin Neff, said that the company
can now be bonded for $30 million dollars and has projects
ranging from $10-$20 million. Neff credits the growth
and success to his employees and their longevity. "We
have really good people, our craftsmen, supervisors
and office staff," said Neff. The full article

ABCO
was honored in the Box Elder News Journal (02-09-05)
regarding the Construction of the Poisonous Plant Research
Laboratory in Logan Utah - a one of a kind laboratory like
no other in the world. Dr. Lynn James, the Director of the
Facility said that he is more that pleased with ABCO's work
- stating that Superintendent Bob Bronson was very easy to
work with. "We never have to wait with Bob. If we have
a problem he is here right now to take care of it."

Project Highlighted on Doug Miller
Outdoors
The
Kay's Creek Project, Constructed by ABCO Construction, was
recently highlighted on Doug Miller Outdoors. The project
- Ducks Unlimited Water Control Structure was built to help
preserve the habitat of Ducks and Water Fowl. The Water Control
Structure is located in West Kaysville.

ABCO Receives Honor
ABCO was given an award for their completing the Poisonous
Plant Research Laboratory in Logan, Utah. Dr. Lynn James thanked
the ABCO staff and Mr. Marvin Neff regarding the difficult
work that went into the project. Dr. James also concluded
that he was happy with ABCO's cooperation and felt that it
was a great "Team Effort." The open house for the
project was held on November 16th.
